Some of the conflicts were that they two girls were locked up in the tower and all the problems that they had when they were locked up in the tower. Also when they got out of the tower they had some conflicts that they had to deal with. The conflicts that were in the tower were that they had to survive for seven years in the tower and they had seven years worth of food but if they ate to much then the food would not last them very long. Also with the rats in the tower eating their food, how would they survive. Other conflicts was that Khasar was going to break them out if Saren would go and live with him and she wouldn't so he was putting fire chips inside the tower so that they would burn. Then in the end of the first part they were running out of food and they weren't going to last seven years in the tower.
The Resolution to this was that first of all they would eat small meals and would only use things that they needed to make the meal. They wouldn't use too much, and wouldn't waste any of the food. Second they set traps that the rats would get caught in and they tried to keep the rats out of their food so they moved what they could to a floor higher up. Next, when Khasar threw fire chips in the hole Dashti was running around slapping the flames and throwing water on the fire and they got Khasar to leave them alone and they were fine after that. Finally, Dashti was watching the rats one night and saw that they were running out of a hole that they had made and she started beating on the bricks and made a big enough hole that her and Lady Saren could fit out of.
